Prescriptions

Repeat Prescriptions

Order your repeat medication.

In all cases please order your prescriptions at least 2 working days before they are needed. Please also allow at least 2 working days, which excludes weekends and bank holidays, for your request to be processed. Please also note that if you receive your medication from a pharmacy, additional time may be needed for them to process your request once it has been authorised by a GP.

Alternatively, you can order your repeat prescription via:

  • Online Services – You will need to register for our online services and then bring a form of photographic ID into the surgery. If you do not have any form of photographic ID, please contact the practice and we will endeavour to help.
  • Automatic Dispensing
  • Electronic Prescription Service – Our non dispensed patients can choose where they would like their prescription to be sent. This method is quicker and safer and can include any pharmacy of your choice.

Dispensary

We dispense drugs directly from the surgery to approximately one third of our patients. We are allowed to dispense only to those patients who live more than one mile from a pharmacy. For more information, see the dispensary page.

Delivery

Our monthly delivery service supports our most vulnerable patients. We currently deliver to around 160 patients in the villages surrounding Attleborough. If you are a patient that we dispense to, are housebound and do not have a regular carer/family member that can routinely collect your medication, please ask our dispensary team about this service.

Medication Reviews

We review any regular medication on a repeat prescription annually and wherever possible the doctor will do this without you having to attend the surgery.

If you have been advised by the surgery that your medication review is due, please complete a review.
